When I’m Out in the Streets

Leicas are made for street photography.  From experience the camera becomes unobtrusively intuitive.  Atwells Avenue in Providence is an expressive panaply of lights and objects and people, especially so in the summer when the street is filled with diners and tattooers and valets and music.  On a winter weeknight the streets are largely bereft of obvious vitality, but nonetheless retain interest and oddity.  I love all genres of photography, but like Bruce Springsteen, when I’m out in the streets I walk the way I wanna walk.

What a series! Salon Style & clerk at the hotel da vinci-2 are real standouts and beautifully framed.

Thank you. The streets were sort of deserted. I had to make sure my camera strap was wrapped around my wrist, it’s not the safest place….
