Victoria's Light

I keep going back to the film images I captured in Sao Miguel, Acores.  I am drawn to them.  This image was taken from the courtyard during a visit to Mrs. Ferraz’ home.  She made us some tea and had some pastry for us to eat.  We saw the equipment from her deceased husband’s butcher shop, still there as a monument to his life.  I wish today that I had taken some images in the butcher shop.  We saw old photographs of her son Walter who is such a dear friend of ours in our home town.Sao Miguel Hills
