A photograph is a glimpse of something seen. Along the way, different factors alter the intent. This image was, much to my dismay, totally botched from inattentive development. Photoshop stepped in, I have meager skills with it. This was the best I could do to salvage the image. I was very disappointed as I was very much looking forward to this one as intended from the camera. It gets me to thinking about what matters when one takes a photograph. For me, it is conveying my intent without alteration. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. As shot, there were many vibrant colors in the subject’s clothing and in the background. Unfortunately, the wall was smattered with purple cast. I do like the imperfection of the last posted image, it is quite whimsical. This images is indicative of my intent, a simple, clean shot but I wish it had the color from real life.
