3D

This is an image of a languishing home repair project. After 3 months of looking at this broken skylight shade, maybe it is time I replaced it. I strive to take at least one picture a day, and with the day bordering on image-empty, this nagging thing became something worthwhile. As a whole I am trying to refrain from mentioning gear used to make pictures, but this one astounds me with its three dimensional quality. I have never shot an image with this trait magnified to such a degree. Leica Summicron 35mm, my favorite lens along with the 50, high (3200) ISO. It is being shipped off to Leica’s repair facility tomorrow. I dropped my camera in the summer and the focusing ring is giving resistance, and it (along with my shade) deserves to be repaired.

Looking at this image, the space is tangible.
