A feeding frenzy is underway. I have filled our larger bird feeder completely two days in a row. The seeds we have in them are attracting smaller birds. A squirrel has been a frequent visitor to the grass under the feeders. At first he would run at the first site of me, but he’s getting used to having me around. The bird on the fence is tending to a nest under the roof of our patio. It fled to the perch on the fence as soon as I entered the patio. I believe he is a house sparrow, and I can’t located my bird book to identify the chap with seeds spurting from the beak.

the female sparrow is on the fence and the male sparrow is on the feeder, must be fun to watch, they will get fat and lazy lol
