Lumix diaries, Providence at night

I am really enjoying the Panasonic Lumix G9. On long exposures if one looks hard there is more noise than from a full frame image but the ease of using the camera with a good lens mounted leads to pleasing imagery. The tiny Panasonic Leica 12mm fixed lens certainly packs a punch. It is sharp and has an aperture ring, a welcome change from most modern lenses. I met a nice young man while shooting on the bridge who just got his first Canon DSLR and it was nice to impart a few bits of advice to him. His eagerness and curiosity were refreshing. Maybe we will meetup again on the riverfront.
