I have such beautiful vintage lenses languishing in my storage locker. Hence I decided to give the K&F Concept M42 adapter a run with one of my favorite lenses of all time, the screw mount (M42) Super Takumar 50mm F 1.4 lens. Focusing was a bit of a struggle. Try as I might, I could not get focus peaking to work on the OM1 camera. Oddly, contrary to my reading, the Exif data did show up in Lightroom since I entered the lens in the Lens Registry of the camera. I was able to get some pretty sharp shots at as low as 1/15th of a second in dying light at the end of the usual long work day. By the time I got to downtown Bristol, it was dark, so the plan was to play with highlights in the shop windows, using different angles of reflection. The bokeh from this beautiful lens is marvelous. They are not the most intriguing shots, but I thank this night and the marvelous lens for a fun experience.
