I took a drive on Sunday. I always take a shooting sojourn on the anniversary of Victoria’s passing. Along the way I stopped at a roadside stand full of colors. Piles of pumpkins did not get my juices flowing. I drove to the end of the lane to turn around and saw some farm equipment and a neat barn. The barn reminded me of something Colton Allen would photograph. I made a few images of the barn. Then I turned left and there it was. A door from a hauling trailer with an uneven surface and the colors of the reflection swirling delightfully.
After taking one image of the door from the side. I stood in front of it and my legs were contorted into a bow. The image reminds me of my father who was very much bow-legged.
My try at home developing C-41 was a moderate success.
Another day, another picture. In memory of Colton, the barn is added.
