On a lark I tried NX Studio software, thinking it would pair well with a Nikon DSLR. How wrong I was.. The program is laughably primitive and slow. I edited this in Lightroom. The background to the left is wonky due to my poor editing skills removing an unwanted shaft of light. I gave up trying to get it right. I desaturated the colors intentionally and like the results..


Looks nice desaturated. I have heard often that I should use NX for my Nikons, or Olympus photo editor for my Olympus files, but in both cases the software is sluggish and not very sophisticated. I use Lightroom for everything these days, as it just works smoothly.
Yes, NX is woeful! I used a Ted Forbes preset for this. His presets are great, very unique.
