This tree and I are old friends. I have photographed it countless times over the years. This is a test roll from my new camera, a Mamiya 7ii with 80mm lens. Kodak TriX, Ilford DDX, 6:45 rotary processing at 68F. Shot at box speed. The camera’s meter is quite accurate and the rangefinder is well aligned. So far, so very good. In the lower gallery, there are a few more images shot from this first roll. The lens is bitingly sharp, something I am not accustomed to in medium format.
