Previously I have been inverting the DSLR Raw scans in Lightroom and playing with curves. A much better way to convert the positives to negatives is use of the Filmic Pro application. The images are imported into the program and after an easy crop and rotate to straighten, there is one click to convert from positive to negative using black and white and color images. Highly recommended. I am using the Negative Lab Pro film holder with rolling transport system and multiple masks for different formats. Here I used the 6×7 mask and 2×3 image format in my Nikon D850. I have not been able to get DSLR scans that do not require minor cropping in this format as of now.
