I am so pleased with this image. Its story gets better. As I wrote yesterday, I got smothered by a wave and my pants and shoes were sopping wet and full of sand. It did not deter me, I kept shooting. I finally left the beach and was standing on the side of my car after taking my pants off, standing there in my underwear to change my pants and shoes. A car pulled up behind me and I joked about it and the two men and I had a good laugh.
I posted the image on Animus, a worldwide community for photographers. The feedback about it has been great. It turns out that “Andy” was one of the guys in the car that pulled up as I disrobed. Andy saw the image on Animus (he is a member) and sent me a message (comment on the image) inquiring if that was me half naked? Uh, yup, that was me, I said. What a coincidence, and what a way to meet in person!
Anyway, I plan to print this image and have edited a few versions of it in DXO Photolab and Lightroom. Which one do y’all prefer? What changes would you make to make the images better?
