The sparrows were filling the sky during my photo walk with friends at Gooseberry Beach in Westport Massachusetts. Shooting such a flock was difficult for me, especially since my camera settings were all wrong, evidence of my not practicing enough with bird in flight photography. We had a wonderful day. My friend will return tonight, hoping to capture an image of the swallows weaving one of their beautiful patterns. This behavior is truly a miracle of nature.
