These are photos from a meetup with Raj Mohan in Narragansett, meandering to Newport Rhode Island. In some of the seascapes the power of the wind is made evident. It was bitterly cold at Point Judith Light, so much so that Raj’s tripod with hanging weight toppled over and bent his lens mount. I used a Nikon F6 and 24-70 lens, and the lighthouse shots demonstrate the perils of using in camera metering. Looking at the images now, I wish I had manually exposed those images. They were taken from a scamper onto the rocks astride the lighthouse grounds with the fierce wind at my back. I have loaded pretty much the whole roll, the last few shots taken to finish the roll were uninteresting.
