Warren Rhode Island is our neighboring town. For some, the Town’s motto is “Keep Warren Weird”. As the setting sun drops behind the buildings, the empty chairs and stoops on Water Street are filled with apartment dwellers enjoying smokes or listening to the radio. Until then, they are empty.
The colors from the “ancient” Leica M8 continue to give joy. I love the whirring sound of the shutter and that it is slow to write to the card. For things a camera can do to satisfy, this one checks all my boxes.

What a treat to come upon your website! I was poking around, looking at what people are doing with pinhole cameras (my new favorite thing), when I stumbled upon your photos and their obvious Rhode Island subject matter. I’m a RI native, born and raised, and lived for 20 years in Narragansett before relocating to NM 11 years ago. As I write, we’re in the middle of a blistering heat wave and prolonged drought, so you can imagine how much your Point Judith pictures resonated for me!
Though I do love my new home, I also miss New England terribly. Your photos were a wonderfully nostalgic bit of bliss. Thank you, and have some clam cakes for me! Be well — Bud
Thank you for your kind comments. I am sorry for not having replied earlier, I only saw the post just now. Be well, Louis.
