Every year Chris and Morgan Lowis are so kind to treat us to an afternoon at Bailey’s Beach in Newport. It is a beautiful place at which cameras are verboten. I nonetheless smuggled my Fuji X100V in and took some shots of the turbulent sea. The day was mostly overcast and hazy. It was neat to walk through the clubhouse and see old photographs from the turn of the late 19th century and early 20th century of well to do people garbed in vintage swimwear, and to see an old color photograph of President Kennedy in a beached dory with his son John Jr. The New England coast is rugged and beautiful, especially on turbulent days like today. I surreptitiously captured a comical photo of an anti-sun god, and of course took the annual photo of our beautiful wives who define the word beautiful. This picture has the perpetual name of “Goddess Row”!
