I found this interesting piece of driftwood at Sandy Point Beach in Portsmouth. The sculptural stack of stones added levity to the images. I shot these using my Nikon F6 and Sigma 35mm F 1.4 lens. Shooting with this camera feels like cheating. The matrix metering system is always spot on, as is the auto focus. I scanned these images using the Nikon ES 2 film scanner attachment on the Nikon 60 mm macro lens. Lighting was accomplished with a cheap LCD screen. This is a very good setup for scanning 35 mm film. One issue was the pronounced curl of the Kodak TriX film. With struggle, the film strip holder flattened the film well.
