Whale Rock, Lloyd’s Beach

I got back 7 rolls of color film from my amazing lab, Kerri’s Photo in Warwick, Rhode Island. I dropped the rolls off at around 11 a.m. and by 11: 45 a.m. I got a text message that the film and scans were ready for pickup. Kerri has been at this for a long time and her development process is without parallel. Colors are always spot on.

This image was shot with a Hasselblad 500CM. The film was likely Portra 400 shot at 200 speed, my normal setting for this film.

I call this Whale Rock because to me the arrangement looks like the hump of a whale.

I am loving the return to film and my Hasselblad.
