I have been saddled from contracting Covid, and am into the third day of misery. Thinking my condition was on the upswing, I decided to take some pictures. Often I return to familiar spots, and when I saw this beautiful restored Oldsmobile at the Classic Cars garage on Tamiami Trail in Venice, sudden hard right turn into the parking lot resulted. After chatting with the proprietor in the office and receiving permission, I was off! After taking pictures of this and a few other stunning vintage vehicles and entering my mundane Nissan Maxima rental car, a beautiful Corvette pulled up, emblazoned with decals noting it as an Indy 500 pace car. Normally I would have taken pictures of the Vette, but the heat and activity were not working well with my illness and I departed for home.
