This is an iconic liquor store in my town, Bristol, Rhode Island. The facade has not changed at all during my lifetime. Narragansett Beer was originally brewed in Cranston, Rhode Island until the company shut down operations. The brand name was purchased by another company within the last 10 years and Narragansett Beer is again being brewed. In my junior year of college I drove in a Ford Granada to Florida for spring break with three fraternity brothers. Two of them were engineers who removed the radio and fitted an 8 Track player for ride tunes. We had 4 cases of Narragansett Beer in the trunk and they did not go to waste!
