Anniversary of Victoria’s Passing

I am sorry to say that my wife had to remind me. October 26 is a day my mind has compartmentalized. It was relived again. To assuage the pain and being entirely out of sorts, I took pictures. Victoria had a sneaky sense of humor. After visiting the seaside I ran my wheels through an automated car wash. I opened the driver’s side window to give the young attendant a tip (always do this) but he unfortunately had already hit the “go button”. The car interior and my person were awash in blue and pink suds. The soap covered my face and when I fumbled to close the window I inadvertently opened the rear window also. She got me.

It’s always good to feel connections to those we’ve lost — even when they’re unusual!

Dec. 31 is my day. Hard to compartmentalize that one away, because it’s a holiday.

Hi Jim, sorry for the late rely. We are members of the same club. Thanks for the kind comment. Louis.
